I received confirmation last night that we have Camp Kellogg (https://www.campkellogg.org/up) by Kalkaska confirmed for April 22nd – 24th.
This is a new camp for us so there will be much to explore. It is 230 Acres (compared to Cutler that is 160 Acres). I was just there a couple of weekends ago with the Alma troop but didn’t get to see much of the camp as they still had a good 8 inches of snow and on Saturday hiked 10 miles on the North Country Trail. The barn, bathrooms, and mini houses were very nice and I look forward to checking out the rest of the camp.
As we get closer there will be more details, but I wanted to make sure everyone was able to get it on their calendars. Our normal plan is to leave Friday night stay over Friday and Saturday night. Have a quick breakfast Sunday morning and head back. It does take a little over an hour and a half to get there, so we will most likely try to leave close to P.M. on Friday and try to leave camp no later than 9 on Sunday.
