Meeting at Deerfield (Biathlon)

Where:  Deerfield County Park (Tell the person at the gate that you are with troop 604 and you will be able to park for free.)

When:  Monday, August 30 from 7-8:30pm

What:  Scouts will start with a biathlon.  They will bike part of a specified trail, jump off and run the rest of the way.  Following the biathlon, an Eagle Scout from the troop will talk about his experiences in the army and how scouts prepared him for them.  Scouts will finish the meeting with patrol-leader elections.

Bring:  Water bottles, and bikes.  Scouts do not need to wear class-A uniforms for this troop meeting.  If any scouts do not have access to a bike, please email Karin Smith directly as there are several families who have extras that can be used.
